My goal with The Extended Version (TEV) was simple yet ambitious: to create the version of this masterpiece that I always wished existed. As a student of this film, my heart will always remain with the Original 4-Part Format. That architecture preserves the grand, cinematic pacing and the sweeping vision exactly as Zeffirelli intended. It is the version I am most proud of, and in my view, it remains the definitive way to experience this story. 

However, I recognize that in today’s streaming world, a reimagining was necessary. To ensure this masterpiece continues to reach new audiences, I have created The Extended Version (TEV).in a 11-part episodic format. A "Digital Archive" designed for the modern viewer. This project is the result of years of meticulous work. I have restored and synced the rare, 1-minute NBC trailers with the international credits to give each chapter its own unique "prestige" opening.

While the 11-part version is available via streaming and on an exclusive custom USB drive (designed for easy "plug-and-play" use on any Smart TV), it exists to complement, not replace, the original 4-part experience. As of 2026, this is the only project of its kind in the world. Every new frame has been reviewed to ensure that the pacing and transitions honor Zeffirelli’s vision while offering a fresh, episodic perspective.
